Walk to the Beach:

Walk two minutes down the road to the beach. Enjoy the white sand, small waves, and spectacular sunsets. There is a lifeguard in peak season, making it safe for the kids. Avoid the parking fees and walk right out of the inn and be there in two minutes. The inn has beach chairs and towels on a first-come basis. Please return the chairs.

Breakfast:

Breakfast is available during peak season from 5/1 through 10/31. We begin your day with coffee, tea, and a full, hot breakfast that is Chef’s Choice. Each meal is unique, using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Breakfast is not offered in the off-season.

Parking:

One parking spot is allowed per guest room or suite. Parking is free but limited, so please plan accordingly in advance.

Please coordinate car pool options or Municipal Parking in advance. The hotel is not able to help find parking for additional vehicles.

Breakfast Room:

We have a lovely breakfast room with attached deck overlooking the garden. Look out the large, bright windows each morning with a cup of coffee or tea with spectacular views of the blue ocean down the road in the close distance.

A self-serve keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, coffee, tea, water & ice dispenser, and kitchenware are available for use.

The room is available for personal use when open after breakfast and when not reserved for a private function. After breakfast, unwind with a second cup of coffee, light read, cocktail, or game of cards.

Beach Yoga:

Yoga classes on the beach are offered to all guests every Saturday 8-9 AM EST during peak season at our sister hotel, By the Sea Guests, down the road. Equipment is provided. Weather permitting

Ocean Views:

An English Garden is very close to the beach, so it’s no surprise that many of our rooms have balconies with partial ocean views.

Stairs Accessible:

All accommodations above ground level are accessible via stairs only. There is no elevator or luggage services available on-site. The room description will note which floor the room is on so we advise referring to this prior to booking.

Lobby & Concierge:

Our front desk will be happy to accommodate you with any concierge request, whether you’re looking for a nearby restaurant, bar, things to do, or nearby sites to explore, our staff will be available to help.

WIFI:

Free WIFI is complimentary to all guests and available in all accommodations and throughout the grounds.

Private Bathrooms:

All accommodations have private bathrooms with hair dryers.

Communal Mini Fridge:

There is a communal mini fridge in the hallway by the back stairs on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the inn for guests to share. Please be mindful of other guests and clean up after.

Communal Microwave:

There is a communal microwave in the hallway by the back stairs on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the inn for guests to share. Please be mindful of other guests and clean up after. There are also ice and wine openers for guests to use.

Climate Control:

All rooms have self-controlled air conditioning and heat.

Housekeeping:

All rooms are cleaned thoroughly in-between stays after checkout. Fresh towels are provided and beds are made with fresh linens and blankets.

Maid service is optional during peak season, May through October only. Hang the housekeeping card on the doorknob in the morning, so the housekeepers will enter the room, usually in the early or late afternoon.

No Children:

Young children under 8 years old are not permitted in the guest rooms of main inn to maintain a relaxing and quiet environment. They are however permitted in the detached Carriage House, where the suites are located and breakfast.
